The Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Australia have recently awarded Libiamo Ristorante with the Ospitalita’ Italiana certification. Ospitalita’ Italiana is a quality seal that was launched in Italy in 1997. This certification is an acknowledgement of exceptional hospitality, food and service in Italian restaurants worldwide. It is presented to Italian restaurants that have proven their respect of the quality standards expected of Italian cuisine

THE NAMING OF LIBIAMO RISTORANTE AND WOOD FIRE PIZZERIA

Husband and wife, Loris and Anna took over this restaurant in June 2008. After much discussion, and despite a very convincing argument for naming the restaurant after their two young sons: Luca & Giulio, the name Libiamo was chosen.

Taken from the most famous duet from Verdi’s La Traviata, and perhaps one of the most known fragments of opera around the world, Libiamo speaks of toasting life and love and beauty and drink, and in the main, of embracing the moment!
